Materials Needed:
- Animal cutouts or stickers
- Large poster board
- Markers
- Velcro dots
Instructions:
- Choose Animals: Select different animals to represent each month. For example, a bear for January or a lion for March..
- Create the Board: Draw or attach animal cutouts on a large poster board. Label each animal with the corresponding month.
- Personalize: Write each child’s name and birth date on a smaller cutout of an animal, or use a sticker, and attach it below the respective month using Velcro dots.

2. Rainbow Birthday Board
Materials Needed:
- Colored construction paper or cardstock
- Scissors
- Markers or crayons
- Adhesive (glue, tape or Velcro)
Instructions:
- Create the Rainbow: Cut out rainbow arcs from colored construction paper. Each color can represent a different month.
- Clouds and Raindrops: Use white paper to create clouds and write each child’s name and birth date on raindrops.
- Assembly: Attach the clouds at the ends of the rainbow and arrange the raindrops below the corresponding month color.
This visually vibrant board not only celebrates birthdays but also introduces children to colors and months.
3. Cupcake Birthday Board
Materials Needed:
- Cupcake cutouts
- Colored paper or cardstock
- Markers or crayons
- Adhesive
Instructions:
- Craft Cupcakes: Create cupcake shapes using colored paper. The top part can be the frosting and the bottom part the cupcake liner.
- Decorate: Write each child’s name and birth date on the cupcake liners.
- Display: Arrange the cupcakes on a board, grouping them by month. You can add a large candle cutout on top of each cupcake to signify the birthday.

4. Balloon Birthday Board
Materials Needed:
- Balloon-shaped cutouts
- String or ribbon
- Markers
- Adhesive
Instructions:
- Prepare Balloons: Cut out balloon shapes from colorful paper. Each balloon will represent a child’s birthday.
- Add Details: Write the child’s name and birth date on each balloon.
- String Them Up: Attach strings or ribbons to the balloons and arrange them on a wall or bulletin board. Group the balloons by month for easy reference.
