Procare is like the core of everything, of our functioning here. It’s my HR tool, it’s my billing tool, it’s my budgeting, it’s our day to day operation.

When I first saw it [Procare Early Learning powered by Learning Beyond Paper], come up, it was still kind of like in the works. And I, I was like, oh, I wanna jump on this, so we can learn it. Some of my older staff are very traditional. They like to hand write out their lesson plan, as where some of the younger staff are super tech savvy. So they were excited about being able to kind of do everything, on their laptop or even on their phones through the app. So we we still do, pen and paper lesson plans, but we’re basically just writing down what we’re using through Learning Beyond Paper.
A lot of the staff have expressed how it’s kind of an affirmation to their job because they, you know, we, we do these early assessments at the beginning of the year, and then six months later, it’s like, oh my gosh, you know, they, they could only recognize three colors and two shapes, and now they know all their colors and all their shapes, and we’re working on early math skills, and it’s like, you did that, you know, they didn’t do it by their self, you know, so it it helps the staff see, you know, that they are doing good work and they are making a difference.

How helpful is the curriculum feature when communicating with your parents?
We integrate it daily. The parents love how we can put it as a daily activity, add a photo to it or a video to it. And so it tells them the purpose of the activity, the outcome, and then there’s a picture of their child doing that activity.
And then they click the link. There’s a PDF they can print out that maybe they wanna try that activity or expand at home, or a PDF that links to why, you know, what developmental domain, what are we looking for.
We also use it for assessments.
That’s something that, we’re not mandated by the state to do, but I feel it’s very important to be doing assessments on the kids, and providing feedback to the families so they know kind of where their kid is in development. So we partner both together. We do assessment every six months. And the way that that the curriculum and lesson plan is lined up with the foundations for our state is just perfect.
I mean, we can just pinpoint activities to go down those assessment lists and make sure we’re getting those observations done. And then when Learning Beyond Paper came, I was like, this is this is great because it just everything’s in one spot. You know, the parents can see the lesson plan, the curriculum, they can download PDFs.
